We are obliged for yours of 23rd, and have pleasure in informing you that we have now received a cable from Hong Kong stating that the crew have been paid off in accordance with the cables exchanged.

We beg to be allowed to express our appreciation of the courtesy and assistance of your Department in this matter. While we may claim that both in this case and that of the "INKUM" we endeavoured to frame our request in a reasonable form, it is of great assistance to have commercial matters dealt with by Government Departments in this prompt manner.
